50% off my 2014 nature photography calendars until midnight tonight

I have great news to share! I’m finally done creating five different (yes, five!) 2014 nature photography calendars. My calendars are now available for sale on my online store, yeah! All calendars are made to order in the USA so you support the US economy with your purchase. And you support a starving artist too, me!

Order your calendars by midnight tonight and save 50% by using this code at checkout: VETERANDAY13. There will be more coupon deals over the next few weeks and I’ll share them on my photography website and also here. If you’re looking for a unique Thanksgiving gift to give a teacher, a friend, a colleague, or a family member, this is a great choice.

I’ll be creating individual pages for each calendar and its pictures over the next week or so on my nature photography website, but for now, you can see the photos that made it into each final calendar on their store page (links below). Feel free to share these links to whoever could benefit, I appreciate any referrals!

Hodgepodge Friday

I wanted to share a few things with you today, so instead of writing several posts, I’m grouping them in a single one, in hodgepodge fashion.

1) I’m participating in the WordPress weekly photo challenge: Green theme on my nature photography website, so hop on over if you’d like to see my green picks. Here’s a preview for you:

2) Today only, until 4pm PST, you can use this coupon code 2012LASTFFHS at checkout to receive 50% off on many products in my nature photography store, including my 2013 photo calendar, posters, canvas prints and ornaments. Some of these items would make great Christmas gifts.

Zazzle displays products created by many artists, so even if you don’t buy something from me, you may find interesting items in other stores. Click on your country-specific link below to start your browsing. But remember, this coupon code is for today only!

If you’re not located in the USA, view this Zazzle post on my photography website to access all the country links.

3) I stumbled upon this wonderful quote by Jack Kerouac on Facebook the other day and I wanted to share it with you. This is for all of us who sometimes think we don’t fit the mold, no matter how hard other people have tried to make us fit in there. And for those of us with children who don’t fit the mold, who think outside the box. This is to remind us there’s no point fitting a round peg into a square hole. Let’s embrace differences. The world would be such a boring place if we were all the same.

A little self-promotion and a 50% off coupon code

As a marketing professional, I’ve promoted a lot of products and services for other people and companies over the past 15 years. And I’m quite good at it, mostly because I’ve had a lot of practice. Promoting myself has been a different story. I first had to promote my freelance business as a marketing communications & PR consultant when I started it two years ago. I didn’t like doing it then and I still don’t like doing it today. I’m lucky enough (or maybe I’ve built the right website, with keywords highlighting my expertise) to have most of my new clients contact me first, rather than the other way around.

But then I worked on getting my photography business off the ground. First I launched my nature photography website and announced it here. Your positive responses and support blew my mind away and encouraged me to continue.

So today I have a few more things to announce. Yes, I’m promoting myself once again and I have no shame in doing so. After all, it’s my job and I’m not going to pay someone else to do it for me!

Like Milka Pejovic Photography on Facebook1) I’ve launched my new Facebook business fan page for my photography and I’d love for you to “like” the page. I’ll post new photos, as well as new products I’ve created and coupon codes for my online store, so don’t miss out! If you have a business page you want me to like in return, please let me know.

2) My 2013 12-month photo calendar is now available for sale on my Zazzle online store. Carrie at The Write Transition was my first guinea pig most appreciated customer to purchase a few of them and they arrived in her mailbox just a few days later.

Today only, Veteran’s Day, use code: 50VETDAYSALE at checkout and get my calendar for 50% off! You can also get 40% off my ornaments and 15% off on most other products. Visit my Zazzle store now.

If you’re looking to make a nice and unique gift to someone for the holidays, you’ll want to take a closer look. I also sell a number of other products, including posters, mousepads, phone and Kindle cases, and coasters, so go over to check it out. This is the link for anyone located in the USA and wanted to ship any of my products within the US. If you live outside of the US, you can still view and purchase from my store by clicking on your country flag below.

Take a look at the photos I selected for this calendar. By clicking on each photo, you can see a larger view of it and read its individual story.
